House of the Dragon star Paddy Considine offers his sincere appreciation to fans after playing Viserys. Considine is one of the few actors who has remained constant throughout the series' run due to the many time jumps, alongside Steve Toussaint, Matt Smith, Rhys Ifans, and Eve Best. The actor plays the ailing King Viserys I in the Game of Thrones prequel series, who makes the controversial decision early on in the show to select his daughter Rhaenyra (Milly Alcock/Emma D'Arcy) as his successor for the Iron Throne due to having no male heirs at the time.
