TLC's The Family Chantel has revealed two seasons of relationship and family drama within the Everett family. Though father Thomas Everett has been notoriously hard on his daughter's fiancé, following the December 14 season 2 finale, it's clear that Thomas only wants what's best for his family.
Along with his wife Karen, Thomas was one of the most vocally unsupportive members of the Everett family when it came to daughter Chantel's love life. Chantel introduced her Dominican Republic fiancé Pedro on 90 Day Fiancé season 4 and her parents were not happy to discover that she had lied about his visa specifications. Though Chantel told them Pedro was coming to America to study, they accused him of using their daughter when they discovered he had a K-1 fiancé visa. Thomas was always more likely than Karen to cave in order to please his daughter. However, both parents eventually accepted Pedro by The Family Chantel season 2.
While many The Family Chantel relationships have been called into question, it has always remained clear how devoted Thomas is to his wife and family. He is a loving father to Chantel, Royal, Winter, and River, he's always Karen's top supporter. Meanwhile, a recent Instagram photo has revealed that the rocky family relationships have worked out, as Chantel and Pedro remain happily married and so do Royal and Angenette. Thomas was last seen this week in a holiday photo shared by his son River. The photo features his children, either solo or with their significant others. They are dressed in Christmas attire. When it comes to personal ventures, what Thomas does for a living is still unclear. He appeared with his wife on her TLC spin-off show Ask Mama Chantel, which aired on Facebook Watch in the fall. He also appears to support his wife in other ventures, including being a published author, public speaking, and being a business owner. Meanwhile, his children have been busy building successful careers apart from reality television. Chantel has become a successful social media influencer who has many brand deals and partnerships, while River recently released a single. Yes, River is venturing into music. Thomas appears more than content with letting his family enjoy the spotlight while he remains a supportive husband and father.
Though Thomas is not active on social media and is one of the most private family members, his personality does shine through on the hit reality series. Since the TLC show was very popular, plenty of fans expect The Family Chantel season 3 to get the green light.
