The latest adaptation of the Nintendo platformer follows Chris Pratt's Mario as he teams up with Princess Peach to save his brother Luigi and the Mushroom Kingdom from Jack Black's Bowser. Unlike the 1993 film, The Super Mario Bros. Movie has garnered a mixed-to-positive response from critics and overwhelmingly positive response from audiences, who have already propelled it to being the highest-grossing video game movie of all-time.
