As Arkane Studios' Redfall approaches launch, new details surrounding the games release are proving to be controversial. A departure from the developer's previous works on immersive sims like the Dishonored series and Prey (2017), Redfall instead takes the form of a four-player co-op shooter set in the titular town of Redfall which has been infested with vampires. Notably, to suit its multiplayer nature, Redfall also takes cues from games like Borderlands, with its four playable characters each having a different set of abilities for offense, utility, and mobility.
