Former lead of The Bachelor, Clayton Echard, has been distancing himself from Bachelor Nation and recently announced he is pursuing a career in real estate. Clayton, initially a contestant on Michelle Young’s season of The Bachelorette, was a controversial pick for Bachelor, as he was selected by ABC before Michelle’s season even aired. Clayton’s season didn’t improve his reputation, and he was heavily criticized for his decisions on the show. Unfortunately for Clayton, his relationship with winner Susie Evans didn’t work out, and since their breakup Clayton has been candid about what a difficult time he had as a part of Bachelor Nation.
