The Doctor Who episode, "Turn Left" (season 4, episode 11) is quite different to any other as it places Donna in an alternate timeline and changes several significant events. Similar to Marvel's What If?..., the episode shows how the world/the universe would have changed had Donna never met the Doctor. In the original timeline, Donna pulled the Doctor back from his darker impulses in 2006 Christmas episode "The Runaway Bride" as he defeated the Empress of Racnoss, but after a member of the Trickster's Brigade sent her back in time to prevent this from happening, the new timeline had a significantly darker fate for everyone.
