Sister Wives star Christine Brown seems to have always known that her ex-husband Kody Brown's relationship with his current wife, Robyn Brown, would put a huge strain on their family and relationship. Though Christine was Kody's third wife, who he married after Meri Brown (1990) and Janelle Brown (1993), her addition to the family went a lot more smoothly than Robyn's. Kody didn't just spiritually marry Robyn the way he did with Christine and Janelle, but legally divorced Meri so he could legally marry Robyn and adopt her three children.
