The momentum of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer franchise continues to soar in the comics medium thanks to the success of BOOM! Studios' latest spinoff, Buffy the Last Vampire Slayer. The series by writer Casey Gilly and artist Joe Jaro takes place 30 years into the future and focuses on a frail, yet wise 50-something Buffy Summers during what can only be described as the end of times. With the Slayer line destroyed and Buffy standing broken but tall as the last Slayer, she's surprised to discover that she may not be the final Slayer in the line after all.
