Salem's Lot Remake's Faithfulness To Stephen King Book Addressed By Star

Lewis Pullman, who is set to star in an upcoming remake and adaptation of 'Salem's Lot, has opened up about how faithful the film will be compared to Stephen King's original novel. Penned by King in 1975, 'Salem's Lot follows the story of Ben Mears, an author who settles down in his former hometown of Jerusalem's Lot, Maine to write his next novel. However, his plans are interrupted upon the arrival of Kurt Barlow, an Austrian immigrant whose settlement in the Lot coincides with mysterious disappearances. Soon, Ben and other townsfolk begin to realize Barlow's true intentions are to turn the residents of 'Salem's Lot into vampires.
