Developer Santa Monica Studios has revealed plenty about God of War Ragnarök, but it seems the developer may be hiding one major gameplay twist involving Atreus. The next game in the mythological action series will see Kratos and Atreus track down Tyr, the Norse god of war, to prevent the end of the world. As the game's launch approaches Santa Monica has slowly revealed new information about the game, like the ability to explore all the Nine Realms. Many new combat upgrades for Kratos in God of War Ragnarok have been unveiled, too, but upgrades for Atreus have been suspiciously absent.
