The results of the Big Brother 24 week 8 Power of Veto competition are in, courtesy of the live feeds, and the winner is Michael Bruner. This veto win was essential for Michael because he was the target of Head of Household Matt "Turner" Turner week but was not nominated for eviction. Instead, Turner nominated his former Leftovers alliance members Taylor Hale and Brittany Hoopes in an attempt to backdoor Michael. After careful consideration, Turner decided that it was best for his game to stick with his new After Party alliance which was formed at the end of Dyre Fest. The alliance was made up of him, former Leftover Kyle Capener, Kyle's showmance Alyssa Snider, and Terrance Higgins, and they have now added Monte Taylor as a fifth member. Michael was ineligible to play for HOH this week because he held the position last week at Big Brochella. The After Party hoped that Michael would not be selected to play for the veto, but he was.
