Libby and Andrei Castravet are a popular 90 Day Fiancé franchise couple, and some viewers might be unaware of what the polarizing duo has been up to in the last year. The 90 Day Fiancé season 5 pair last appeared on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 6, and they will return for the spin-off show’s upcoming seventh season. However, Andrei and Libby have been busy during the time between filming. Their social media might even reveal any potentially scripted plot lines for Happily Ever After season 7 after fans called them out for their drama on season 6.
Even though Libby and Andrei had the most stable and functional marriage during Happily Ever After season 6, their plot line was widely criticized by viewers for being seemingly scripted. Andrei memorably argued with Libby’s jealous siblings, as they were resentful of him joining their father Chuck Potthast’s house-flipping business. While the issues Libby’s sisters Becky Lichtwerch and Jenn Davis had for Andrei came across as painfully staged since they were all happy together on social media, the animosity between Andrei and his brother-in-law Charlie Potthast appeared real. The two men ended up in a physical fight that left Charlie, and his wife, Megan Potthast, estranged from the extended Potthast family.
Libby and Andrei shared some exciting news with their 90 Day Fiancé followers, which might be featured in the upcoming spin-off. The couple announced in late March that they are expecting their second child. Libby, who just turned 32, is currently just over 30 weeks pregnant. Therefore, only the early stages of her pregnancy were captured for the show, and she will likely give birth before the Happily Ever After season 7 "Tell-All" episode. Online, Libby and Andrei appear to be happy in their marriage and are devoted parents to their daughter Ellie. Any potential marital issues they could air in season 7 would negate the happy family they present on social media.
It’s far more likely Libby and Andrei will have a conflict with her family. Libby follows Jenn and Becky on Instagram and appears to be on good terms with her sisters. However, she is only following Megan and not her brother Charlie. The animosity between the Potthast family and Charlie is likely genuine since they aren't friendly online. Meanwhile, Andrei appears to also be on good terms with his father-in-law Chuck. Libby and Andrei have also found their own line of work apart from the family, as they recently launched their YouTube channel called Ellie’s World. The video channel based around their daughter launched last week and offers content directed at children in six languages. This business idea is also a potential plot line for the couple since their marriage appears intact.
Although the Potthast family drama comes across as fake, at least Libby and Andrei have a happy marriage after appearing in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise. Despite not being popular among viewers, the couple often supports each other and gets along. Meanwhile, they are one of the few couples on Happily Ever After season 7 who are married and not franchise villains. Many viewers are unhappy that Angela Deem and Big Ed Brown are appearing in the 90 Day Fiancé spin-off show. Therefore, Libby and Andrei likely won’t be the most criticized duo in the new season.
