Not too much is known about Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey, but Waterfield has said in a previous interview with Variety that both Pooh and Piglet will be the main villains of the film, which will see both characters going on a “rampage” after being abandoned by a college-aged Christopher Robin. “Christopher Robin is pulled away from them, and he’s not [given] them food, it’s made Pooh and Piglet’s life quite difficult.”

Additional cast includes Natasha Tosini, Amber Doig-Thorne, Maria Taylor, Jase Rivers, Simon Ellis, May Kelly, Natasha Rose Mills, Richard D. Myers, and more. Production officially wrapped last May.

Originally created by author A.A. Milne and illustrator E.H. Shephard, Winnie the Pooh recently saw its copyright expire in 2021, with the rights to the characters no longer being held by Disney and entering the public domain. It was then that director decided to make the film, although due to the huge boost in press and general excitement, the crew behind the film has been trying to expedite the editing process.
