In the latest episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Heather Dubrow shows the housewives how to “microdose” edible marijuana and fans love the hilarious scene. RHOC star Shannon Beador hosted a Mexican-themed lunch for the housewives and Heather gifted Shannon a crystal bowl filled with marijuana gummies. Heather went on to explain that since it’s been legalized in California, she’s been experimenting with taking little “microdoses” here and there.
Fans were surprised to see Heather partaking in recreational drugs. Heather is known for being uptight and a bit of a snob, which earned her the nickname “Fancypants.” Her drink of choice is usually champagne and Heather is known for throwing lavish parties and jet-setting off to exotic locations. In a recent episode, Heather flew the RHOC castmates to Mexico to scout locations for her vacation house. Viewers, however, saw a more laid-back side to Heather when she openly admitted to taking edibles to relax.
During Shannon’s lunch, things became a bit strained when new RHOC castmate Jen Armstrong shared that she was having marital issues with her husband Ryne Holliday. Fellow housewife Noella Bergener tried to relate to her by talking about her impending divorce with her husband James Bergener, but Emily Simpson didn’t think the two were related. Noella got defensive and the two ladies started arguing. Emily later joked that she needed a Xanax to deal with Noella, but Shannon suggested they take a “microdose” of edibles instead. After some of the housewives took a nibble, it seemed as if they were much more relaxed.

Heather and Shannon’s relationship has been strained for some time so fans enjoyed seeing the two ladies sharing a high moment together. Heather and Shannon’s friendship almost ended when Shannon talked about a lawsuit against Heather’s husband Terry Dubrow that happened years ago. However, Heather and Shannon were able to mend fences and move forward. After the two housewives shared an edible, Heather joked that she was going to get arrested until she remembered that marijuana was legal and Shannon affectionately called Heather her “drug dealer.”
Despite the lunch almost going south, the ladies of The Real Housewives of Orange County were able to rally and end on a high note. The women gave Jen some advice on how to deal with her marriage and Noella was able finish the meal without breaking down in tears or fighting with Heather. Jen, who was upset about her marriage and possibly dealing with legal issues at the time, wasn’t in the right state of mind to try the edibles. She asked Heather if she can partake in the “microdosing” next time she was in a better mood and Heather enthusiastically agreed.
