The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alumn Lisa Rinna trolled Kanye West on Instagram after the rapper went on a rant regarding soon-to-be-ex-wife Kim Kardashian of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and her new boo comedian Pete Davidson. While things escalated between the couple, Lisa tried to bring some levity to the situation.
Lisa is known to use her social media — especially Instagram and TikTok — to show off her dance moves. Sometimes she has “guests” to join, such as her mother, the late Lois Rinna, who passed away in November 2021. Other times it’s her daughters, and on rare occasions, her husband Harry Hamlin. Lisa also doesn’t care what others think about her dance videos. And although the reality television personality has a few feuds with other housewives of the RHOBH franchise, she never dared to troll or diss them on her Instagram. But Kanye is no housewife, and he certainly enjoys the media attention.
On Super Bowl Sunday, Lisa reposted a meme on her Instagram created by an RHOBH fan that shows Kanye holding a yellow notepad that reads, “You better believe Lisa Rinna’s gonna talk about it,” with an image of Lisa in the background. Lisa’s caption was brief but on point and she responded with, “Crying.” The meme was created after Kanye posted the same exact picture holding a notepad that read, “My account is not hacked,” with Sunday’s date, followed by a rant of posts regarding Pete, not going to see Kanye's kids - ever. Although Kanye quickly deleted the post, the internet was quicker and turned him into a meme.
Some fans and RHOBH co-stars commented with laughter, such as Crystal Kung Minkoff who just wrote, “Ok this one kills me.” However, she quickly got attacked by a critic accusing Crystal of making fun of mental health, referring to Kanye’s past mental health ups and downs and his bipolar diagnosis. Regardless of what the comment section of Lisa’s Instagram said, she wasn’t the one who created the meme, she just reposted it without any ill intent. However, it is often hard to say when Lisa is stirring up some drama for the benefit of the show, or when she just gets caught up in the middle of other people’s drama.
However, Kanye has quite the list of people on his radar at the moment, although no housewife of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills franchise just yet. However, if it turns out that Lisa is a supporter of Pete or even friends with the SNL comedian, she could find herself as a meme or being trolled on the internet, just like Taylor Swift found herself being trolled by Kanye at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs).
