Keeping Up with the Kardashians: Kanye Launches Yeezy Christian Academy

Amid Kanye West's bid for the presidency, the rap/fashion mogul has launched his Yeezy Christian Academy. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians member brought his kid's along to help him promote the new school.

Kanye has been busy managing his political campaign, music and fashion career all while being a full-time dad and husband to Kim Kardashian West. Many were surprised when Kanye announced his official campaign back in July. He went on to hold one controversial rally in South Carolina in August and released an official campaign ad in October. Though he's only on a few state ballots listed as a vice presidential candidate within the Independent Party, the Yeezy founder has been petitioning write-in votes on Twitter. While many call him out over his political goals, including actress Jennifer Aniston, Kanye continues to promote his "2020 Vision."

It appears that a religion-based school is apart of the "Stronger" rappers plans for a better world. Kanye took to Twitter on Wednesday, October 28 to release a 48-second promo of children dressed in all blue while speaking about their futures. "Dear Future, I still believe in you. Yeezy Christian Academy," he captioned the tweet. The video included some of the Kardashian offspring North West, Saint West, nephew Mason Disick and niece Penelope Disick all repeating what appears to be the school’s motto of “Dear Future, I still believe in you.”

Throughout the video, a series of playing children look into the camera and share their messages of hope for what's to come. “Dear Future, I still believe in you," the kids say throughout the video. "We still believe in you. We believe in our families." The kids also touch on what might be nods to Kanye's campaign plans. “In our future, we will heal. Our future has homes for everyone. Our future has food for everyone. Our future has love. Jesus loves everyone. Let’s lead with love! Our future is waiting on us!” The words are similar in tone to some of Kanye's recent tweets that he's sent out while promoting his presidential bid. While his wife has yet to publicly support his campaign, sister Kourtney Kardashian was called out for posting a photo of her wearing a "Vote Kanye" hat.

According to Page Six, a press release for the academy only describes it as West’s “latest initiative for education.” The statement also claimed the video ad "demonstrates the responsibility citizens hold for the future of children in America.”
