Avengers 4 Fan Art Reunites Surviving Heroes for Tearful Dinner

Avengers 4 fan art features all the remaining MCU heroes after Avengers: Infinity War gathering for a dinner. Three months after Marvel Studios rolled out their biggest film yet, the final events of Avengers 3 remain to be a popular topic of conversation among fans. Despite getting help from the Guardians of the Galaxy and other superheroes, the Earth's Mightiest Heroes were dealt with their first real defeat at the hands of Thanos, resulting in people, as well as plants and animals, suddenly disintegrating into dust. Sadly, there's no official update with what people can expect in its still-untitled sequel, leaving people guessing about next year's installment.

While directors Joe and Anthony Russo, as well as the film's cast and crew, are busy back at work for Avengers 4 reshoots, fans are keeping themselves occupied by sifting through the internet for possible clues as to what might go down in the new film. Between leaked set images and what is known about the plot of the film, many of them are convinced that time travel and the Quantum Realm will play a significant part in the narrative, although it's unclear exactly how.

Created by digital artist BossLogic is an Avengers 4 fan-poster gathering all heroes who are known to survive Thanos' deadly snap in Infinity War. The piece is an updated version of the Last Supper-themed artwork that the creator did a few months ago before Avengers 3 hit theater, which included all characters confirmed for the latest Marvel flick. Check out the image below:

Now, knowing what went down during Earth's Mightiest Heroes' first battle against the Mad Titan, the new illustration is chock full of small details referencing each ones' losses during their to thwart the villain's universe-altering plans. For instance, Rocket's now engrossed in the same video game that Groot was playing, while Thor looks distraught with Stan Lee seemingly trying to console him. The creator also added characters who skipped Infinity War but are confirmed for Avengers 4, like Hawkeye, Ant-Man, and Captain Marvel, who is busy examining the beeper she received Nick Fury's distress call with. Finally, Tony Stark remains at the center of the table, clutching Spider-Man's homemade headpiece in his hand, clearly still grieving.

It's not a secret that most, if not all, of the heroes snuffed out from existence will be brought back one way or another, some of which have confirmed sequels scheduled to take place after the events of the twin Avengers sequels. Admittedly, many are worried that doing this will weaken the narrative impact of Thanos' victory, considering that it could've easily be overturned. It doesn't really help that the MCU is notorious for faking deaths for their main characters. However, popular theories suggest that resurrecting dead heroes and ultimately defeating Thanos will come at a high price, something that the core Avengers, like Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor will be willing to pay even if it means sacrificing their own lives. Shall this be the case, expect that there should be some form of a switch between the currently dead heroes and the ones still alive. Perhaps after Avengers 4, there will be another updated version of the aforementioned fan art.
