Original Ariel actor for The Little Mermaid Jodi Benson has responded to the changes that were made to the live-action adaptation of the movie. Released in 1989, The Little Mermaid is a classic Disney animated film tells the story of Ariel, a young mermaid who wants to learn more about life on land. A live-action remake starring Halle Bailey will be released on May 26, which will include some alterations to the story and some of the classic songs.
